[Bug 593174] Re: empathy duplicates my accounts
fix committed is used by ubuntu desktop team (which I am not) for bug which are fixed upstream. I think its in many cases a better way to close bugs. I have seen many times bugs are fixed in ubuntu but there status is still confirmed etc. so if the status is set to fix committed someone hunting for bugs to a new package could first look into the fix committed bug and close them if they are fixed (thats what I did with evolution bugs a few days ago). we at empathy use fix committed too :) -- empathy duplicates my accounts https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/593174 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

But when windows are grouped and you hover over a grouped application with a dragged file, the list of grouped applications does not pop up so you can not choose a window to drop the file into and the applications stay in the background. [Bug 584252] Re: gnome-typing-monitor annoyances (bugs?)
I agree with you; this new behavior makes gnome-typing-monitor much less usable than before. I will downgrade my copy too for the time being. Also, when watching movies in mplayer, the break occurs 30 minutes (my work interval) in the movie even when I have not touched the keyboard or mouse during that time. To bring the new version justice, I will mention one improvement: The postpone button is disabled for the first five seconds of the break, so users cannot reflexively postpone the break immediately. [Bug 435935] Re: Support Upstart
This is a colossal mess. The bottom line seems to be that one has to recheck all service configs after an update, whether sysv or upstart.
