It only occurs when Evince has been idle for some time. I go back to the
window and try to scroll down, nothing happens for several seconds and
the window is dimmed, then after a few more seconds it suddenly responds
and scrolls as desired. I can then

Just as mysteriously as it stopped working last week, the indicator
applet started working again today. It now changes to reflect the
battery state as the battery is discharging.
No tooltip when hovering over the indicator icon (so I misremembered
there), but a left mouse click drops down a menu

I've noticed it with my iPod as well. For the record, I'm running Xfce

I can confirm this is now fixed for me in Maverick. I tested it by
upgrading to Maverick Beta and the leak is gone.
I did find that gnome-power-manager did not work, since it was looking
for libappindicator.so.0.
The workaround was:
sudo ln -sf /usr/lib/libappindicator.so

I have a very similar issue after resuming from suspend. But the icon is
not depleted, but full ! In fact, Gnome Power Manager does not report
the good remaining capacity after resuming.
System is Lucid Lynx (10.04 LTS) on a Thinkpad T410.

only one panel with **no single piece of Canonical applet** ( obviously
with Compiz enabled) -- only standard Gnome stuff. So, what else can

This is fine and all (I guess), but seahorse-plugins is not installed by
default (at least not on my desktop). I suppose this isn't a huge issue
since Lucid users upgrading won't see a regression, but people using
maverick for the last however many months may be confused.

That seems to have helped a lot. It's not perfect, but it has helped.
The system is now usable. plymouthd has crashed according to a crash
report indicator (but I've no idea what that does, and it doesn't seem
to have stopped anything I use from working), and I have two other gtk

Hi, I found a workaround that currently works for me using Kubuntu and Chrome.
If you edit specific window settings for 'Npviewer.bin' and force it to stay on
top and enable focus stealing prevention, this will solve the problem of OSD's
exiting full screen flash video. This is possible because
Always when I start evolution after I start the computer, it hangs with

Problem still remains in meveric meerkat. I installed system with defalt
layout (for my country), then I added dvorak layout. Keyboard shortcuts
just do not work if I operate on new layout
This is a major issue, this should not be happening!

Hello,
On my Samsung R610 laptop I try changing the brightness of the LCD
screen but pressing the Function and a uo ir down arrow key it displays
the brightness changing notification but does not change
