[Bug 504337] Re: Evolution searching messages affords no hits
Really, strictly speaking this is not a bug. The quick search bar if you click on the magnifying glass says 'Subject or Addresses contains', and if you go to 'Advanced Search' you'll see this rule is defined as 'Any of the Subject, Sender and Recipient' contain the *whole* specified string. This is never going to be the case if you use keywords from both the Sender and the Subject. Unless I've misunderstood your definition of the problem. It would be good to get some screenshots showing where you entered the terms and which results you did and didn't get. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/504337 Title: Evolution searching messages affords no hits -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 23810] Re: Evolution is unusable in 1024x768
It doesn't work on my netbook Acer AOD260 10 too on Ubuntu Netbook Edition 11.04. My resolution is 1024x600. The main window's lenght is too large and so the preferences window's height. If there was only a possibility of resizing the main window in the vertical position. I know, that the left and upper menu has big icons, but what about the right upper corner? There is some space which is unused. I can handle the preferences menu with pressing the alt key and dragging the window with mouse. It's a pity, that some things in Ubuntu Netbook Edition 11.04 don't work properly, although it's made for netbooks. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/23810 Title: Evolution is unusable in 1024x768 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 778543] Re: Evolution mostly (?!) fails to save sent email to IMAPs sent folder - the mail is saved in local folder instead
Of course I have set my sent folder in IMAP account setting correctly. I can move it manually to IMAPs sent folder, but it makes me crazy ... I can't find any determinicity of that. [Bug 792341] [NEW] gnome-terminal is sometimes not adding trailing slash when [Tab] used
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal Steps to reproduce : $ mkdir test cd test $ mkdir target $ ln -s target backup $ ls -l lrwxrwxrwx 1 tomasz tomasz6 2011-06-03 14:22 backup - target/ drwxr-xr-x 2 tomasz tomasz 4096 2011-06-03 14:22 target/ Now try: $ cd ta $ cd ba Pressing [Tab] expands ta to target/, while ba is only expanded to backup (notice no trailing slash). Although it's consistent with ls output, it is a bit counterintuitive, as logically both target and backup are accessible directories. What's even more interesting, pressing [Tab] again when ba is already expanded to backup will add the trailing slash (backup/). Also I noticed xterm behaves exactly the same, so the reason must be somewhere deeper.
