[Bug 787684] Re: Evolution can't open some local address books
If can help, I have this problem and this is my GCONF configuration in /apps/evolution/addressbook, name = sources, 3° value: The address book "Personale", that have "system" relative_uri, works correcty, and I get "Invalid source" opening address book "AbleTech", with relative_uri 1295625049.3850.8@cvs28. I see that the "uri" is wrong, because now the addressbook is in .local/share/evolution/addressbook, but I have also tried correcting this URI in GCONF, but the error stays there. I tried opening the addressbook.db.summary files, and they seems ok. I cannot also delete that address book... [Bug 834335] [NEW] evolution forgot location of imap Sent folder after recent upgrades
Public bug reported: I use IMAP for email, and when I send email I have it stored in a Sent folder on my IMAP server. Recent oneiric upgrades broke this and I get the following error whenever I send an email: 'Message was sent, but an error occurred during post-processing. ...Failed to append to imap:///Sent: Cannot get folder 'Sent': folder does not exist. Appending to local 'Sent' folder instead.' This can easily be fixed by going to Edit/Preferences/Mail Accounts then selecting the account, click Edit, and going to the Defaults tab. Looking at the entries for Drafts and Sent, I only see 'click here to select a folder' rather than the folder I used to have prior to upgrades. I'm assuming this is some sort of migration failure. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - evolution forgot location of Sent folder after recent upgrades + evolution forgot location of imap Sent folder after recent upgrades -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/834335 Title: evolution forgot location of imap Sent folder after recent upgrades To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/834335/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 556670] Re: Can't click on UI elements in gimp (intermittent)
Not working here. =( In my device list my genius tablet appears twice with the exact same name (UC-LOGIC Tblet WP8060U). The first one is useless (if i set it to "screen", the tablet won't draw anything, although, it moves the pointer). The second one I have to set it to "screen" or "window", otherwise the tablet will work as a mouse (no pressure/fading effects). So it doesn't matter whether the other devices are "disable", "window" or "screen"; I need to put the tablet as "window" for it to be usable. But the the problem persists. I had to kill the-gimp with xkill command, since I wasn't allowed to click the "don't save" option when trying to close the application. Public bug reported: When opening the appearance properties window (to, say, change the background) my icons are all reset to the default ubuntu-mono ones. This should not happen. [Bug 834168] [NEW] Segfault with creating custom widgets through GtkBuilder
Public bug reported: Current ubiquity crashes when running under pygobject 2.90. Easy local reproducer in a built ubiquity tree is: $ GI_TYPELIB_PATH=src/webcam PYTHONPATH=. python -c 'from gi.repository import Gtk; import ubiquity.gtkwidgets; b=Gtk.Builder(); b.add_from_file("gui/gtk/stepPrepare.ui")' I bisected this to http://git.gnome.org/browse/pygobject/commit/?id=7bc4122897, which explains why it works in the pygobject-2-28 branch (as this commit got reverted there to not break the pygtk ABI). [Bug 834102] Re: Nautilus crashes on file search and moving scrollbar
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a ".crash" file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. Now open your file manager, navigate to your /var/crash directory and open the crash report you wish to submit. If this fails you will have to open a terminal and file your report with 'ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash' where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. If you get an error that you aren't allowed to access this report you will have to file it with 'sudo ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash'. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/834102 Title: Nautilus crashes on file search and moving scrollbar To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/834102/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

You have been subscribed to a public bug: This package is still installed on my system from an earlier Ubuntu version (maverick?).
