[Bug 928767] Re: Since latest update Gtalk and MSN no longer will connect
Has the Online accounts feature been removed. I installed a fresh copy of 12.04 and it no longer exists in the user menu or the system settings. I have now gone and deleted my online accounts which is still present on my 64bit machine. I have been working on this install since 12.04 was released and added my accounts as per normal IN empathy and now they working. I did try this the other day but made no difference. I suspect the online accounts feature was causing an issue hence why it has been completely removed. [Bug 923749] Re: New push mouse offscreen feature really difficult to get
After falsely subscribing to bug 871986, i see that now i'm in the right place. After reading the comments on thiw bug, i confirm that it easier for the launcher to reveal after the adjustments proposed. I still however have to hit hard the left part of the screen to reveal the launcher, something that i don't consider a right setting, because of two reasons: 1. It is not an obvious decision to start hitting the left side of the screen. An obvious thing to do is to leave the cursor there for a little longer, something that sadly does not work. 2. It reminds me of the you just need a bigger hammer logic, of which i am no t a fan. I also want to point out that this cannot be solved when using 12.04 in virtualbox guest installation, as pressuring left with the mouse just a) exits the mouse off the guest OS onto the host OS if the host OS is on never hide launcher setting, or b) reveals the Host OS launcher if the host OS is on autohide or avoid window launcher setting. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/923749 Title: New push mouse offscreen feature really difficult to get To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/923749/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
