[Bug 527157] Re: Brightness controls skips Levels.
Hmm... really strange. I made patch ubuntu 11.10, g-s-d 3.2.2-0ubuntu2.1. May be you upgraded to 12.04 already? Actually, I should make patch for 12.04, as it's latest stable now. [Bug 527157] Re: Brightness controls skips Levels.
Sorry, I didn't write instruction: - put the file into debian/patches/ dir - add line 52_brightness_in_hardware.patch to 'series' file in that dir (not sure if this step is required) - build package as usual This patch should be applied last, after all ubuntu/debian patches. [Bug 876007] Re: nautilus uses 100% of CPU
Don't you think it's a bit reckless closing bugs and brushing them aside like this, as if people reporting them are mere idiots. This is a really serious bug, and only two days ago I managed to waste a complete 48 hours because of the 100% CPU usage and unresponsiveness of the system. You say to obtain a back trace; how on earth are you supposed to do that when the system is simply frozen and the bug affecting not a single package, but every single package that one can use to copy files across - take your pick, do a large copy of either a large contiguous file or a large number of files, and bingo you have it. One would have thought a team with brains the size of a planet would surely have seen this, rather than hide behind political crap that distinguished Micro$oft and it's pile of Windoze trash. [Bug 988377] [NEW] Ubuntu 12.04 Beta - Startup Applications doesn't save settings
You have been subscribed to a public bug: I run Startup Applications select Guake (a quake style terminal) and click the close button. Reboot the system and Guake is not loaded. Check Startup Applications and Guake is unselected again. Select it and click close then reopen and it is again unselected. To test if it is only Guake I add GEdit to the list and click close. Then open Startup Applications again and it is missing. I tried to find the Startup Application pid or package but couldn't find it. ** Affects: gnome-session (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: bot-comment -- Ubuntu 12.04 Beta - Startup Applications doesn't save settings https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/988377 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-session in Ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 988377] Re: Ubuntu 12.04 Beta - Startup Applications doesn't save settings
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . I have classified this bug as a bug in gnome-session. When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu- bug' and the name of the package affected. [Bug 988987] [NEW] The tabs at the top of System Settings have visual glitches
Public bug reported: The tabs of System Settings (gnome-control-panel) that are located at the top, just under the application name bar (the one with close/minimize buttons), shows some visual glitches. Let`s say I click on Displays icon (or any other), it will show All Settings and Displays tabs, but they are too close together, when you select one of them, the highlight is wrong, because the part between them doesn`t show, which breaks the rectangular highlights looks.
