[Bug 1022946] [NEW] Tree item doesn't contract right after being expanded
Public bug reported: I have attached a screenshot to better explain the situation. On the screenshot you can see a Nautilus window showing my music folder. Some of the subfolders are expanded, some are not. The Instrumental folder is expanded. In fact, the screenshot shows the situation right after I expanded this subfolder, and the mouse pointer is still over the triangular arrow near the folder icon. Now, the problems begin when I try to click on the triangular arrow again. What I expect is that the Instrumental subfolder will contract, and if I keep on clicking it should expand, then contract again, then expand again, and so on. What happens in reality is nothing: I keep clicking on the triangular arrow, but the subfolder just remains expanded. However, if I move the mouse pointer just a little bit and click on the arrow again - then the folder contracts as expected. [Bug 1022962] [NEW] LXDE: Show Containing Folder button failed to execute err
Public bug reported: In Ubuntu 12.04 LTS I get the following error whenever I use the File-Open Containing Folder feature. Could not open the containing folder. Failed to execute child process pcmanfm (Permission denied) This is precisely bug #864992, but for LXDE instead of Gnome. The problem is fixed for LXDE (and presumably KDE and XFCE) by replacing /usr/bin/nautilus Cx - sanitized_helper with the following to /etc/apparmor.d/usr.bin.evince /usr/bin/nautilus Cx - sanitized_helper, #Gnome File Manager /usr/bin/pcmanfm Cx - sanitized_helper, #LXDE File Manager /usr/bin/krusader Cx - sanitized_helper, #KDE File Manager /usr/bin/thunar Cx - sanitized_helper, #XFCE File Manager (and then running: sudo /etc/init.d/apparmor reload) As with bug #864992 the chance of a regression is low, and it should not increase the attack surface in the slightest unless pcmanfm, krusader or thunar were installed (they wouldn't exist in a default Ubuntu install, unless the user manually installed them, in which case the user probably wants to be allowed to use them). Re: [Bug 1020312] Re: gnome-settings-daemon crashes immediately with an assertion error in xcb when it is started
It's a normal, local X session that comes up after bootup, using the standard X server that comes with ubuntu 12.04. The system is using an xorg.conf file to make it use the fbdev driver, since it has a Poulsbo video chip for which only a 2d driver is available. [Bug 400097] Re: system won't suspend on lid close
I've started to experience this issue on a upgrade from 11.10 to 12.04. This seems to app on a upgrade, a full install may fix this otherwise I see that no solution as yet to be produced. Just giving an update on an non fixed bug. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/400097 Title: system won't suspend on lid close To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-power-manager/+bug/400097/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1008840] Re: Update to 3.5.4
Ok, I can confirm the XKB issue there, easy way to test is to run from the build dir (keyboard panel subdir): setxkbmap us; ./test-keyboard (instead of us pick a layout which is not your default one, the code will not run if the default config matches the one used) the issue is not due to the indicator patch but to the revert_keyboard one reverting that commit fixes the issue: http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-settings-daemon/commit/plugins/keyboard/gsd-keyboard-manager.c?id=42afa81cb2eba7b1b69fc60951f0b5cfc09ac45b writing fixes because I get no indicator after that so I wonder if it just makes the whole code not work... will keep investigating tomorrow but that can give a start for somebody else wanting to look at that -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1008840 Title: Update to 3.5.4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1008840/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
