I actually meant that this was not a showstopper for the whole of Ubuntu. Clearly it spoils the game. Hi, I tested the patch and it indeed solves the same issue for me. However, the solution is only to not display the Language window at all. What was wrong with the Language window that it didn't pre-select the current selected language? Public bug reported: I have ZorinOS 5.2 version of Natty 64 bit (Ubuntu). I set up 5 seconds delayed autologin, while starting-up, mouse is freezing on simple gdm greeter and I can't move pointer on the screen till desktop is loaded, I inserted 30 seconds of sleep in the script at /etc/gdm/Init/default, delayed login works but it also keeps me waiting 30 seconds on every logout. We already distributed the file /usr/share/gconf/defaults/99-our- defaults to workstations, so we can just override the default active_plugins specified in 10_compiz-gnome. [Bug 1063782] [NEW] Mouse pointer speed settings have no effect
Public bug reported: Changes in both the Acceleration and Sensitivity options have no effect on the speed of the pointer. The pointer moves at the same speed with the Acceleration slider set to both the minimum and maximum values. I would expect the pointer speed to change when changing these settings. Cups does correctly report about the printer: Brother HL-5250DN series Brother HL-5250DN BR-Script3 , Postscript-Brother 20101122 (OpenPrinting LSB 3.2) Again, this only happens with Evince, I do always print with LibreOffice without problems. [Bug 1063822] [NEW] Ctrl+Alt+L and Ctrl+Alt+Del have no effect
Public bug reported: I would expect Ctrl+Alt+L to lock the screen and Ctrl+Alt+Del to log out except neither happen. Both shortcuts are set in the keyboard shortcut settings and used to work up until today.
