On seemingly random boots, gnome-session fails to load and simply goes
to a black screen after first showing the "gnome stiped blue background"
for around two seconds. the greeter log in var/log/gdm (see attached)

Same here. It's been a nuisance ever since I upgraded to 12.04 months

This was changed in version 0.13. Shotwell's thumbnails are now stored
in ~/.cache/shotwell and are regenerated if missing. We had some bugs

This issue has also propagated to Linux Mint 14, an Ubuntu derivative. I
was having difficulty using my German Privacy Foundation Crypto Stick
with Mint or Ubuntu.
While it doesn't solve the underlying issue (that is, the gnome-keyring
agent doesn't play

Tried to reopen the chat-window and instead got the crash and the
preferences-dialog opened. Killing and restarting the empathy process
fixed it for a while, then it happened again.
