Public bug reported: I am using Ubuntu 13.04 in macbook retina and everytime I suspend (or suspend closing) the notebook its screen stays completely black and I can heard the sound that it is still working, it does not suspend and it does not return from this state. I tried to click on all keyboard keys and some combinations as well as using the touchpad. Anyway, it really does not work after being suspended. It continues on (does not really suspend) and does not work so that I have to hold the turn off button and turn it on again. Any chance this is actually going to get added? I think with shotwell being the default image editing application in Ubuntu there should be a user friendly method of resizing - as simple as edit, resize, enter percentage or pixel value. I realize you can go through the save as menu but that's not intuitive at all. Public bug reported: To reproduce in 12.04. Open a PDF to run Evince. Go to an arbitrary page with some content displayed. Select a zoom level so that something is displayed. Hit CTRL+N. A new window shows but has blank display. The workaround for now is to adjust zoom. Then PDF page is displayed. Should not need to do this, because last window displayed the content.
