Yesterday i enable the sound notification of my system... and this morning Nickserv wakeup me one more time... Then men, iv got the solution, you can disable the sound notifications. Trust me, it fix this bug. This error can be consistently reproduced on Ubuntu =12.04 (at least) by typing this command -- /etc/init.d/networking restart I believe that the crash requires isc-dhcp-server to be installed. Also, the /etc/network/interfaces file had been changed in all cases with multiple interfaces present on the hardware. I would be willing to pin down the exact steps required to produce this error if it is needed (shoot me an email). I am also affected. I don't use several viewports but I use Compiz's keybinding for Show desktop. Once, using this shortcut, the desktop was shown and brought back the terminal's cursors stops blinking and can't be revived. Changing the above mentioned dconf settings doesn't help, neither cursor-blink-time nor cursor-blink-timeout. I'm not sure if this is the same but but I now have 3 ipods shown in Nautilus and when either Banshee or rhythnbox is started my Ipod is shown as a network drive and the media player crashes. I don't understand why bug #539477 has been fixed at the cost of an unknown but definitely unaffected majority of users who don't use hardware that implemented strange Microsoft standards. I hope it's possible to revert the fix for #539477 and commit a new fix that is less intervening. What about adding an option to the keyboard settings in Gnome Control Center? Since I extensively use Super in combination with several keys (read: letters), p being only one out of many, I patched gnome-settings- daemon by removing the Superp shortcut, and created my own deb package. there will be:

You have to replace it to:
if(!iswprint(*r)) {
(we replaced function isprint by iswprint).
And now do:
(/home/user) $: cp unix/Makefile ./
(/home/user) $: make generic
(/home/user) $: sudo make install
After this operation unzip will work like a charm :)
!!! AND BONUS: Not only unzip, but Archive Manager will correctly show zipped
file names from now!
