[Bug 1193229] [NEW] Rhythmbox seeks ahead or crashes when resuming from pause
Public bug reported: I'm using Rhythmbox on Ubuntu 13.04. If I pause the music, wait for a short while, then un-pause the music, it instead seeks ahead very rapidly, silently. When the current song end is reached (in just a couple of seconds) it will move to the next track and rapidly seek straight through it as well. If I pause again, then wait a few seconds, and un-pause, the player UI freezes entirely, and I have to use the command line to kill rhythmbox. [Bug 880657] Re: stuck retrieving emails from IMAP
Installed Mint15_64 and Evolution 3.6.4 and similar problem. Evolution will get stuck trying to retrieve an email. Killing process does not resolve the problem as the empty window persists - by that I mean the emails, icons and other functions disappear but the overall window persists. Only way I clear it is to log out and back in from the Mint session completely. It is though related to IMAP and a similar problem occurs with sync of calendars. [Bug 995189] Re: Ejecting network drive causes nautilus to close
Just noticed this on 12.04 too. Looks like a difficult issue, because there are some situations where closing the window seems to make sense, e.g. if the window automatically opened when USB/optical media was inserted. OTOH, if I open a nautilus window by hand, double-click a DAV share, then eject the share, closing seems the wrong thing to do. Would it be possible to keep track of the reason the window was originally opened, and change the behaviour based on that? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/995189 Title: Ejecting network drive causes nautilus to close To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/995189/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1193297] [NEW] directory view is not retained. always displays global default view whenever new window is opened
Public bug reported: The directory view attributes (list, icons, etc.) no longer stick to a directory. Each time the file browser is opened contents are shown using the default view characteristics. If characteristics are changed then all other directories viewed are viewed with those changed characteristics as long as it is a continuing browsing session. If the file browser is closed and reopened the view reverts to the default view regardless whether other characteristics were set in the previous browsing session. In all versions prior to 13.04 each directory could be given view attributes different than default that would persist even if the file browser was opened and closed multiple times or the system shutdown and restarted. [Bug 1031449] Re: rhythmbox leaking memory
I tested the fix. Although I don't claim it fixes all possible memory leaks, the memory usage is substantially improved. Using a given set of tracks the leakage went from ~90MB to only 5MB or so (and it didn't increase past this value). However, if cover-art is activated, the memory usage can be worse, as it seems to load every image and keep it in memory.
