[Bug 948636] Re: Paste menu entry don't work
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 882307 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/882307 Only recently, I upgraded my Ubuntu system to 12.04. Since then I experience the same problem: very often (not always), when I try to cut/paste or copy/paste a document using the right button menu in the nautilus GUI, the paste option is unavailable, although the settings of the directory/files should allow these operations (on the command line , equivalent mv and cp commands work as expected). Sometimes, opening a new window on the target directory of the paste operation solves the problem. This bug does not seem to be a duplicate of Bug #882307 since it happens independently from copy/rename operations on the file names as already mentioned by Fiorenzo De Santis. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/948636 Title: Paste menu entry don't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/948636/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1021375] Re: Nautilus says the USB stick is read only when it is not
Well, I found a solution. 1. I renamed the /home/[my-username]/.config directory as /.config.old 2. After logout and new login, a new /.config directory is generated. 3. I replaced the old /.config.old/nautilus directory by the newly generated /.config/nautilus 4. /.config erased. 5. /.config.old renamed as /.config again 5. Logout and new login => problem solved. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1021375 Title: Nautilus says the USB stick is read only when it is not To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1021375/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 933659]
Hello, === There is an update on this issue. It looks like the only fix possible for this bug is "libsoup strict SSL mode enabled". In Evolution 2.x, all of the certificate authenticity checks are done within calendar/gui/itip-utils.c:itip_public_comp inside the backend; no extra configuration options may be passed and it is complicated to implement the latter. In addition, in Evolution 3.x things are very different and cannot be easily ported back into version 2.x. With "strict mode" in libsoup enabled, end-users will have to add unverified certificates they trust into the system using the external tools.
