[Bug 371289] Re: fail to delete directory over sshfs with nautilus

2013-08-09 Thread Sebastien Bacher
we're 3 years later and i still can't see a Yo, this is a problem
which is gonna be fixed by *me / *him or her / isn't gonna be fixed
because it's a feature / whatever

Hi,

The issue is an upstream (the people who write this software) nautilus
one, not specific to Ubuntu. The ticket in the nautilus project to track
the issue is https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=565677

Ubuntu doesn't have the resources to deal with that bug at the moment
(it's ranked low in our priority list since sshfs is not a standard
configuration not something most of our users are running), patches are
welcome if you want to work on it though. Otherwise you should try to
comment on the upstream ticket, but it seems it's not ranked high enough
in their priority list either...

Thanks Ara, I don't think it's necessary though, the SRU team tends to
work the other way around: they check the queue and come back to the
bugs from the changelog. I guess the message/subscribe can help as a
gently review nudge though ;-)

[Bug 1168056] Re: Gimp does not pick up plugins from configured plugin path

2013-08-09 Thread Thomas Hotz
Sorry, I haven't read this line enough:

Only the /usr/lib/gimp/... location appears to be used, whih means I
can't install my own Gimp plugins under my home directory. This is
contrary to expectations.

[Bug 1205513] Re: info-cc-panel-WARNING **: PackageKit version 0.7.6 not supported

2013-08-09 Thread Hans Joachim Desserud
Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu
better.

I have not been able to reproduce this issue. (Though I see a similar
warning about PackageKit version 0.7.4, so I don't know whether that is
related or not.)

Please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging
information, in a terminal:
 apport-collect 1205513
When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and
the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality
at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

[Bug 1205513] Re: info-cc-panel-WARNING **: PackageKit version 0.7.6 not supported

2013-08-09 Thread Tim
The PackageKit warning is harmless and unrelated to the crash. Will need
to see a stacktrace to determine the cause of the crash, but I suspect
it might be in reading glx info.

[Bug 1210723] Crash report cannot be processed

2013-08-09 Thread Apport retracing service
Thank you for your report!

However, processing it in order to get sufficient information for the
developers failed (it does not generate a useful symbolic stack trace). This
might be caused by some outdated packages which were installed on your system
at the time of the report:

outdated debug symbol package for libexpat1: package version 2.1.0-4
dbgsym version 2.1.0-2

Please upgrade your system to the latest package versions. If you still
encounter the crash, please file a new report.

Thank you for your understanding, and sorry for the inconvenience!
