we're 3 years later and i still can't see a Yo, this is a problem which is gonna be fixed by *me / *him or her / isn't gonna be fixed because it's a feature / whatever Hi, The issue is an upstream (the people who write this software) nautilus one, not specific to Ubuntu. The ticket in the nautilus project to track the issue is https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=565677 Ubuntu doesn't have the resources to deal with that bug at the moment (it's ranked low in our priority list since sshfs is not a standard configuration not something most of our users are running), patches are welcome if you want to work on it though. [Bug 1205513] Re: info-cc-panel-WARNING **: PackageKit version 0.7.6 not supported
Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu better. I have not been able to reproduce this issue. (Though I see a similar warning about PackageKit version 0.7.4, so I don't know whether that is related or not.) Please execute the following command, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal: apport-collect 1205513 When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs. ** Package changed: ubuntu = gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1205513 Title: info-cc-panel-WARNING **: PackageKit version 0.7.6 not supported To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1205513/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1205513] Re: info-cc-panel-WARNING **: PackageKit version 0.7.6 not supported
The PackageKit warning is harmless and unrelated to the crash. Will need to see a stacktrace to determine the cause of the crash, but I suspect it might be in reading glx info. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1205513 Title: info-cc-panel-WARNING **: PackageKit version 0.7.6 not supported To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1205513/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
