[Bug 1218322] Re: Can't set keyboard layout change to alt+shift, ctrl+shift, etc.
Upgrade to: gnome-control-center : 3.6.3-0ubuntu45 gnome-settings-daemon : 3.8.5-0ubuntu10 Now Alt+Shift worked. FYI, I've clear the xkb settings before upgrade (as in comment #159). [Bug 1227920] Re: after suspend/resume, the Unity HUD is always open when I unlock the screen
** Description changed: + Impact: hud is opened after resume + + Test case: suspend/resume your computer + + Regression potential: the new code is doing a tapping on the shift + key, check that there is no input side effect due to that + + - + Traveling at a conference, so I'm doing a lot of suspending and resuming of my laptop. Every time I open my laptop back up after resume and unlock the desktop, the Unity dash is open. This does not happen if I lock my screen using the lock screen hotkey, and does not happen if my screen is locked by a lid close event; only when the system suspends and resumes. But it is 100% reproducible. @Sebastien --- thanks. I will try to do more test (I do not have the 13.10 laptop with me now); it has to be a problem very specific, otherwise there would be a lot more people screaming ;-)... The strange thing is that I can mount perfectly the devices as a normal user with udisksctl mount --block-device /dev/sdc2 so it seems that something is failing in the chain from udev (which register the disk correctly) to whatever agent is supposed to mount it on my behalf. [Bug 1233791] Re: nautilus segfaults when opening phones internal storage
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is either missing or challenging to deal with as a .crash file. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. Now open your file manager, navigate to your /var/crash directory and open the crash report you wish to submit. If this fails you will have to open a terminal and file your report with 'ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash' where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. If you get an error that you aren't allowed to access this report you will have to file it with 'sudo ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash'. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding. ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Low ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: New = Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1233791 Title: nautilus segfaults when opening phones internal storage To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1233791/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1241964] Re: gnome-settings-daemon uses too much ram
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers of the software by following the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME. If you have done so, please tell us the number of the upstream bug (or the link), so we can add a bugwatch that will inform us about its status. Thanks in advance. ** Changed in: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Low -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1241964 Title: gnome-settings-daemon uses too much ram To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/1241964/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
