I haven't had that problem with the application menu not showing for a
while now.

The difference might be that I am using

1. Newer hardware with much greater processing amd RAM capacity; or

2. Later versions of the operating system and software.

It doesn't make any difference to me what happens to this bug report
now.

and a later version of Rhythmbox.

from suspend, but this really looks like the issue we've had with the
systemd logind proxy for the PrepareSleep method.

On Trusty, after the change to use gnome-flashback-applications.menu for
the gnome-flashback session all Wine applications appear in the "Other"
menu, which leads to a confusing list of applications if the installed
programs have common shortcut names in their Start Menu folder like
Uninstall, Help, License and Readme.

I did a custom edit of the gnome-flashback-applications.menu to include
the Menus defined in the wine.menu file in the applications-merged
folder which makes the default wine applications appear in the Wine
menu, but the user installed applications that are found in the
~/.local/share/applications/wine folder still show up in the Other menu.

I see this as well (indeed about 0.5 or 0.6 MiB/min), didrocks asked me
to try reverting dbus-cpp and process-cpp to older versions to see if
they cause the leak, but going back several versions of each has had no
effect on the leak.

Well this Bug appeared again.  "show hidden files" is checked when i
open nautilus. When I turn it off and close/open nautilus again, its

In Ubuntu 13.10 backspace in terminal only deletes one byte of multibyte
character.

For example:

# cat > /tmp/test
tыt

# cat /tmp/test
t�t

# hexdump -C /tmp/test
74 d1 74 0a

Where 'ы' is a russian letter (D18B in hexadecimal form). You may see
that only second byte of multibyte character was deleted by backspace.

I saw similar problem for ssh, but it's not the case. Here I'm not using
ssh, just normal Terminal session.

It's Ubuntu 13.10 32 bit. I couldn't reproduce the problem in guest
account. So this appears to stem from remnants of previous version. I
deleted nautilus folders in ~/.local and ~/.config, it didn't work.
There must be other folders that nautilus uses.
