[Bug 1480552] Re: Failed to parse ACL d:group:adm:r-x, d: Invalid argument. Ignoring
Comment from https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1241997 This happens in the initramfs, where some groups are not defined, and acl parsing fails. Unfortunately the parsing code (libacl) does not return meaningful error codes, so we don't have a way to differentiate between a non-error like missing groups, which we would simply ignore, and other errors. Some solution will have to be implemented in systemd upstream to deal with this properly. ** Bug watch added: Red Hat Bugzilla #1241997 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1241997 ** Also affects: initramfs-tools Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1480552 Title: Failed to parse ACL d:group:adm:r-x,d: Invalid argument. [Bug 1368647] Re: GPS and location detection not working on Nexus 4
„I let upstart start the location service with gps::Provider as the only provider“ as described in #11 – I have commented lines in /etc/init /ubuntu-location-service.override and restarted the service, so I got: # ps aux | grep [g]ps root 7065 0.1 0.5 151508 10048 ?Ssl 17:05 0:00 /usr/bin/ubuntu-location-serviced --bus system --provider gps::Provider But GPS is still not working. In the log file, I found an error: # cat /var/log/ubuntu-location-service/com.ubuntu.location.INFO Log file created at: 2015/08/02 17:05:53 Running on machine: ubuntu-phablet Log line format: [IWEF]mmdd hh:mm:ss.uu threadid file:line] msg I0802 17:05:53.963609 7065 ofono_nm_connectivity_manager.cpp:699] [connection_goes_via_wifi] E0802 17:08:45.950181 7072 android_hardware_abstraction_layer.cpp:157] Error downloading GPS Xtra data: Timeout was reached: Operation timed out after 1428 milliseconds with 53576 out of 59748 bytes received I also agree that GPS is very important function. I love Ubuntu because it brings real GNU/Linux to my phone, so I can do almost anything (e.g. run SQL database or even GlassFish in my pocket device), but if navigation is not working, I can't use it as a smartphone. [Bug 1292113] Re: CTRL+ALT+T - shortcut to open Terminal is does not work
Same issue here. Doesn't seem fixed. I have the same issue with other Ctrl related shortcuts, like my custom shortcuts Ctrl Alt 7, Ctrl Alt 8, etc. Logging out and back in fixes it but that's hardly a suitable workaround when the missing shortcuts are only realized after you're already neck deep in work. It just seems tied to that Ctrl key, Ctrl Alt T included with terminal, though certain shortcuts are seemingly exempt, such as window management shortcuts, I.e. Ctrl Super left/right arrow or Ctrl Alt up/down arrow, etc. 14.04.2 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1292113 Title: CTRL+ALT+T - shortcut to open Terminal is does not work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-terminal/+bug/1292113/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
