[Bug 1603715] [NEW] bluetooth unavailable after rfkill hard blocking and unblocking
Public bug reported: DELL Latitude E5510 has a hardware switch to disable and enable bluetooth and wifi devices ("hard blocking" in terms of rfkill). In terms of wifi, this works great: After hard unblocking, the device resumes back to normal operation without any manual intervention. That was also working with bluetooth as of ubuntu 14.04, kernel 4.2. In ubuntu 16.04, kernel 4.4.0-31-generic, together with systemd, this is not working any more: After hard blocking and unblocking - bluetooth is not working at all - the applet-indicator remains gray - bluetooth cannot be enabled with the applet-indicator (see https://storage6.static.itmages.com/i/16/0717/h_1468721829_7715160_83cd33bfba.png). [Bug 1603698] [NEW] gnome image viewer picture copying bug
Public bug reported: Hi Guys. I found a rare and strange bug in imageviewer. when i open a music in rhythmbox and rhythmbox shows current music's picture at the top of it's window. but the bug is that when i double click on the little picture and gnome image viewer comes up and shows it i right click on the shown picture and choose the ( copy ) option , when i go to a messenger like telegram and paste this picture for sending to someone , it just loads and loads. you can try it. i know it's a little complicating but i wanted to report it. abstract : copying a picture in gnome image viewer when opening it from rhythmbox doesn't completely work like pasting it in telegram. just try it and you'll see that. [Bug 1208993] Re: Ubuntu slows down and hangs while copying file from/to USB
Same problem here, driving me crazy because it's unpredictable. Last night I copied 500GB (movies 1-2 GB) from an old external HDD to a new external external HDD. Finished the next morning without problems. Next I wanted to copy 5GB and the transfer became slower until it came to a halt. The system (Ubuntu 14.04) froze, I could't use the mouse/keyboard.
