[Bug 1641358] [NEW] libgtk-3 should avoid configuration --enable-debug=no

2016-11-12 Thread Andrew Shu
Public bug reported:

The packaging guidelines for libgtk say to avoid using "--enable-
debug=no" when packaging stable releases of GTK+. [1]

The "--enable-debug=no" option can cause subtle errors and should be
avoided. "--disable-debug" is another alias for this configuration
option.

More info and discussion at the Gtk-rs project (Rust bindings for GTK).

[Bug 1296270] Re: Have to login twice after suspending

2016-11-12 Thread cong06
16.04 LTS.

I tried a few different options in: "Brightness + Lock" but had no luck.
The settings there do affect this issue, but I could not turn off the
old style lock (disaplyed here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/639014
/another-password-prompt-when-waking-from-suspend ) without uninstalling
gnome-screensaver.

Uninstalling gnome-screensaver, like the askubuntu.com link suggested
fixed the issue for me.

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

** This is not a bug, but a feature request. **

Please add more information in the page of each package:

* most importantly - the package's actual name.
(The name that is used in the command line: "apt-get install ".)

* show the last record from the changelog, so that the user will know when the
package was updated by the maintainer, and the user will see the changelog.
(apt-get changelog )

* Show the various fields from "apt show ".

* Show the actual version of the package.
Note that "apt show " displays only the version of that package
which corresponds to Ubuntu. But what is the actual (global) version of the
