[Bug 1633162] Re: Files application throws an error 'Oops! Something went wrong' when clicked on 'Recents'

2017-02-24 Thread schuko24
Had updated to 16.10 a few weeks ago, but running only on kernel 4.4
because of issues with systemd. Recent update to kernel 4.8 was
successful and brought up the bug 1633162.

Workaround #15 works fine (Ubuntu 16.10 Unity).

2017-02-24 Thread Iain Lane
I've uploaded, thanks.

I moved the bug number up to the first line of the changelog. It's more
normal to have it there.

Not sure what you're doing, but your patches are showing up as
text/html, which means you can't easily view them in a web browser. Can
you fix that for next time please?

2017-02-24 Thread Ubuntu Foundations Team Bug Bot
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Reviewing your log files attached to this bug report it
seems that a package failed to install due to a segmentation fault in
the application being used for the package installation process.
Unfortunately, this bug report isn't very useful in its current state
and a crash report would be much more useful. Could you try recreating
this issue by enabling apport to catch the crash report 'sudo service
apport start force_start=1' and then trying to install the same package
again? This process will create a new bug report so I am marking this
one as Invalid. Thanks again for helping out!

[This is an automated message. I apologize if it reached you
inappropriately; please just reply to this message indicating so.]

[Bug 254980] Re: Calendar displays appointments/meetings at incorrect times

2017-02-24 Thread t0rrant
I can confirm this on evolution 3.18.5.2-0ubuntu3.1

My local timezone is set as UTC

Added EventA at time HH:MM with timezone America/New York (UTC -05:00)

EventA is added with time hh:mm where mm hh = HH + 05:00 instead of
-05:00

Working around this by setting incorrect event timezone on the event.
Should not be that hard to find where wrong operation is...

Cheers
