[Bug 1692233] [NEW] Unable to install language packs
Public bug reported: I have found that on my Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 installation with GNOME 3.24.1 that if I open the "Region & Language" section of the gnome- control-center that even though in Terminal it is indicated that there are Enlish (UK) packages to install, it doesn't do anything in the GUI. And if I attempt to install a new language the whole window just really quickly flashes once but nothing else happens. [Bug 851654] Re: Missing Suspend option in gnome-shell power menu
Daniel, you are welcome to file a new bug if you think Suspend needs to be more prominent. This bug isn't a good fit since GNOME Shell is quite a bit different now than it was 6 years ago when it was first release. For the average user using a laptop, a Suspend button doesn't seem necessary to me since closing the laptop lid will also suspend the computer by default. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/851654 Title: Missing Suspend option in gnome-shell power menu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/851654/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
