[Bug 1711936] Re: Severe graphical corruption in gnome-shell with nouveau [Nvidia GeForce 8400M GS]

2017-09-02 Thread Alex Jones
Well, now that I say that, I tried again after a reboot and sddm loaded
a corrupt session, same as gdm3. I'll remove gdm3 as affected.

  * debian/rules:
- Ignore test failures on Debian. See bug 874077.

mutter (3.25.91-2) experimental; urgency=medium

Debian's mesa packages currently only recommends it

mutter (3.25.91-1) experimental; urgency=medium

Re: [Bug 1713249] Re: gnome-software don't install e.g gnome-tweak tool

2017-09-02 Thread Per-Inge
I get the problem after a new install. I have my configurations file in
Dropbox and my bookmarks in Chrome/Chromium. It's essential to me that it's
easy to install these packages.

Today I used the 2/9 daily and Software provided this message both at
installation of Dropbox and Chromium.
"Enable Third-party Software Source? Dropbox is provided by
"ubuntu-artful-universe". This software source must be enabled to continue
installation. Cancel Enable and Install."
When I use Enable and Install I get the message
"Unable to install Dropbox
[system/packages/ubuntu-artful-universe/desktop/dropbox.desktop/*] E:Could
not find the repository"

However GNOME Packages installs OK and both Dropbox and Chromium install OK
with GNOME Packages.

When I search for Chromium after the installation with Packages, Software
provides no results, but if I click on the desktop outside of Software the
result is provided.

When I click on All in Software Dropbox and Chromium are not shown as
installed. "Install..." is shown instead of the expected "Remove."

[Bug 1714624] Re: Some apps resize and move around, when child windows are dragged.

2017-09-02 Thread Budhajeewa
Any way to mark this as a bug in Artful daily builds?

I don't see a way to do that by myself. I asked about it from @ubuntu on
Twitter ( https://twitter.com/budhajeewa/status/903812337186066433 ) ,
no reply so far.

[Bug 1226962] Re: Keyboard shortcuts (hotkeys) not functional in some cases in non-latin keyboard layouts

2017-09-02 Thread Harel Mazor
When using Hebrew keyboard, key shortcut are completely unavailable - not even
the simple things like CTRL+C to copy.
I couldn't understand what was not working as the scenario is as follow:
Create a text box, switch to Hebrew to write something in Hebrew - forgot that
I change the language - no keyboard shortcut are available... :-(
