[Bug 1788691] Re: [Cosmic] gnome-shell crashes when windows key pressed
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It sounds like some part of the system has crashed. To help us find the cause of the crash please follow these steps: 1. Look in /var/crash for crash files and if found run: ubuntu-bug YOURFILE.crash Then tell us the ID of the newly-created bug. 2. If step 1 failed then look at https://errors.ubuntu.com/user/ID where ID is the content of file /var/lib/whoopsie/whoopsie-id on the machine. Do you find any links to recent problems on that page? If so then please send the links to us. 3. If step 2 also failed then apply the workaround from bug 994921, reboot, reproduce the crash, and retry step 1. Please take care to avoid attaching .crash files to bugs as we are unable to process them as file attachments. It would also be a security risk for yourself. ** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1788691 Title: [Cosmic] gnome-shell crashes when windows key pressed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1788691/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1788679] [NEW] Features request
Public bug reported: I use shotwell for a long time. I'm actually using version 0.28.3 – "Braunschweig" on ubuntu 18.04.5 I think it is one of the best program for photos In my opinion there are some fearures that should be added: - auto-internal backup: to backup photos in shotwell we must to backup /images, /shtotwell thumbnails, cache, etcc. Very annoying. Could create an automatic procedure menu accessible that creates unique file, for example .tar.gz ? it shuold be an option to select which photos to backup. Very important the possibility also to choice the period (from a date to another) for the backup giving the possibility to free hdd space. - Jpg-raw images: a function that is able to erase RAW file from a RAW- JPG picture. Indeed when we import photos from digital camera (both RAW and JPG format), we can decide to remove the raw format from some of these becouse the is already used or not necessary for some photos, obviously leaving jpg thank you ** Affects: shotwell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to shotwell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1788679 Title: Features request To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shotwell/+bug/1788679/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1788364] Re: Terminal not working on Ubuntu 18.04
Hello again, some updates on this issue. I have been trying to upload a report with apport when a terminal window is greyed out. However, apport is also unresponsive when this happens, I use the Alt+F2 command prompt, it takes about 20 seconds to display the keyboard input (about one character per second) and never reacts to the Enter input. A more important point: I noticed that a process named "orca" was using 100% CPU when the terminal becomes unresponsive. I managed to end the process in the System Monitor, and immediately the terminal started functioning correctly again. Since the command prompt is also not functional during these events, I am unable to upload a report on orca. Thank you. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1788364 Title: Terminal not working on Ubuntu 18.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/1788364/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
