[Bug 1767648] Re: Top bar and shell dialogs are not displayed properly when zoom is enabled

2019-02-06 Thread Bryce
I have an HD 5870.
I'm not using any additional or proprietary drivers (according to that tab in
Software & Updates); however, 'Proprietary drivers for devices' is enabled in
the Ubuntu Software tab in Software & Updates.

The only PPAs I have are for Google Chrome, PlayOnLinux, and Alexander
Larsson's Launchpad.

For my video card information:
Cypress XT [Radeon HD 5870]
Vendor: AMD/ATI
Phys. ID: 0
version: 00
clock: 33MHz
driver: radeon
I'm not sure exactly which information you need, so here is a pastebin of the
output of 'modinfo radeon': https://pastebin.com/axFRR5hw.

I'm honestly not sure what to provide, so if you want the output of some
commands, I can provide those easily if you tell me which/what you'd
like. I didn't find any GUI-level information on my drivers or what
packages they are, so that's the best I could find in the time I have
for this.

[Bug 1814991] [NEW] 'lock' glitch

2019-02-06 Thread themusicgod1
Public bug reported:

>From within gnome:

I left-click 'triangle'
I left-click on the lock

the screen gets stuck where it doesn't go to the lock screen, but
instead the lock icon flashes orange, then back to brown, then back to
orange, then back to brown over and over again.

I can still move the mouse but I can't click on anything

Shift-Alt-F3 gets me to a terminal, then Shift-Alt-f2 or f1 gets me
back...and then there's a lock screen.

It's done this twice now.

[Bug 1814947] Re: segmentation fault

2019-02-06 Thread Sebastien Bacher
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. It sounds like some part of the system has crashed. To
help us find the cause of the crash please follow these steps:

1. Look in /var/crash for crash files and if found run:
ubuntu-bug YOURFILE.crash
Then tell us the ID of the newly-created bug.

2. If step 1 failed then look at https://errors.ubuntu.com/user/ID where
ID is the content of file /var/lib/whoopsie/whoopsie-id on the machine.
Do you find any links to recent problems on that page? If so then please
send the links to us.

3. If step 2 also failed then apply the workaround from bug 994921,
reboot, reproduce the crash, and retry step 1.

Please take care to avoid attaching .crash files to bugs as we are
unable to process them as file attachments. It would also be a security
risk for yourself.

[Bug 1640292] Re: Cannot access files on Samsung Galaxy Tablet with 16.10

2019-02-06 Thread Marius Groenewald
Hi, thanks for responding to this bug. It's been more than 2 years after
reporting it, so I don't have that particular tablet anymore, as I have
upgraded to a new Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 tablet. And yes, the bug is
still there. When I click on the device's icon, it takes forever to open
a folder when I click on the folder on the right window pane. Even on my
new PC that has USB 3.0.

2019-02-06 Thread Chris Metzler
Yep, I reported it about the same time as confirming this bug.

The history there of commits on rhythmbox doesn't seem to suggest that
it's likely this will be addressed: lots of additions/changes to
language files, but not much bugfixing, despite a lot of bug reports.

[Bug 1814416] Re: The application store constantly crashing

2019-02-06 Thread Edson José dos Santos
Now who is catching is the Nautilus

The PC gets HD access almost half an hour and the folders only open when the HD
stops blinking.
Something is running in the background or using 100% CPU.

Even the partitions being mounted as shown in the attached image do not
open the Nautilus folders by clicking the link.

In the work area, when using the mouse with right button the
nomenclatures are still without translation into Portuguese of Brazil.

It follows the sequence of attachments to show what happened.

Thank you in advance for your attention and we look forward to a
solution

Edson Santos

**

Edson Santos
