[Bug 1824699] Re: gnome-calendar pango critical
I tried to add my hometown Dorsten to weather inside calendar again. When i enter Dorsten (this is in germany), the search does not find or offer my city. When i press enter, this setting is set. I checked in dconf editor, there was the default value org.gnome.calendar weather-settings (true, false, '', nothing) And now there is the value org.gnome.calendar weather-settings (true, false, 'Dorsten', nothing) So calendar weather accepted my town Dorsten and now crashes after that. When i enter for example Berlin, the search offers this city and calendar is fine. The problem is when cities are entered, that are not found in search -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-calendar in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1824699 Title: gnome-calendar pango critical To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-calendar/+bug/1824699/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1800912] Re: cannot update browser foxfire read-only file
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures. At a minimum, we need: 1. The specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem. 2. The behavior you expected. 3. The behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible). Re: [Bug 1292398] Re: Second screen position isn't saved from one session to another
Our setup: 1. Older GPU(Integrated Intel® HD Graphics 2000) 2. Always using some sort of display multiplexer(splitter) on VGA out to dual TV’s, previously, now only single local monitor on VGA and 4K Tx(wireless) on HDMI out to a projector, currently. Thoughts: 1. Could the splitter or wireless transmitter be inducing some sort of delay or interference with the EDID detection of the monitors expected by gdm3 + gnome-session + mutter in an X11 session? 2. What is slick-greeter doing differently from gdm3 that avoids this problem? 3. Does LightDM differ from slick-greeter all that much? If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested and change the tag from verification-needed-disco to verification-done-disco. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification-failed-disco. In either case, without details of your testing we will not be able to proceed. Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance for helping! N.B. The updated package will be released to -updates after the bug(s) fixed by this package have been verified and the package has been in -proposed for a minimum of 7 days. ** Changed in: gedit (Ubuntu Disco) Status: In Progress => Fix Committed ** Tags added: verification-needed verification-needed-disco -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1822753 Title: /usr/bin/gedit:11:gedit_metadata_manager_set:gedit_document_set_metadata:save_metadata:gedit_document_dispose:g_object_unref To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gedit/+bug/1822753/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
