I have the same problem. The Launch button disappeared in Ubuntu 20.04. But it was presented in previous Ubuntu versions. How could this be released? Looks like a showstopper bug. People install apps, but can't launch them. OK, so deletion of pulse config helped. First deletion only temporarly and the weird behavior came back after some switching.
