[Bug 1968451] [NEW] GNOME launcher folder icons and labels very small
Public bug reported: Ubuntu 22.04 Daily Build from April 9th The default Utilities folder in GNOME Shell applications launcher (the screen that shows when you hit Super twice) are extremely small/tiny. I haven't seen this with other versions of GNOME shell on other distros with this version of GNOME that I have tested, so it may be a Ubuntu specific issue. I've attached a screenshot of the "Utilities" folder as it existed by default after install, I did however change the icon theme to a few different ones before noticing, but it persisted after switching back to Yaru Icon Theme. I was able to get the normal behavior by dragging all the icons out one by one and recreating the folder, after which it appears normally. [Bug 1946575] Re: Maybe a bug with the standby timer / sleep mode timer for HDDs
** Description changed: Hallo, - the standby timer for HDDs is maybe a little bit broken. + the standby timer for HDDs may be a little bit broken. It works fine if I set it to 8 minutes or less. If I set it 10 minutes or above the timer does not send the HDDs to standby any more. I tested also 12, 15 and 20 minutes. Every time above 10 minutes does not work. [Bug 1968213] Re: Icon theme reverts to Yaru when entering Appearance settings
It does also revert the theme of some system apps. 1. Open gedit 2. Go to preferences 3. Select the desired theme under Fonts & Colors (non-Yaru) 4. Go into Appearance settings in the settings app. 5. Reopen gedit and the theme will be Yaru. I think the main issue is that the theme reverts to Yaru even if no settings are changed. It is understandable that selecting a new accent color reverts to the appropriate Yaru theme, but if no settings are changes, then why does it do that? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1968213 Title: Icon theme reverts to Yaru when entering Appearance settings To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1968213/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
