[Bug 1993244] Re: weird default applications behaviour
I have a script which installs all the packages I need, which includes gnome-calendar and evolution. It always shows both when installing seperately. When installing both at the same time, it can (weirdly enough, this doesn't always happen) remove one or the other, including the mime type (which makes the events in the notification center unclickable). This also happens with Music and Video (for Music I have Rhythmbox, but it clashes with mpv)(for Video it's Celluloid, mpv and Totem) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1993244 Title: weird default applications behaviour To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1993244/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1993214] Re: [jammy] Update gjs to 1.74 using mozjs102 102.3
** Description changed: Impact -- GNOME Shell uses the SpiderMonkey JavaScript engine from Firefox ESR (mozjs). Firefox 92 ESR has reached end of life; therefore, we should switch to the 102 ESR series for security updates for the next year. This requires updating gjs from 1.72 to 1.74 from GNOME 43, as packaged in Ubuntu 22.10. This will be done as a Security Update. [Bug 1993212] Re: nautalis cannot find trash at XDG_DATA_HOME="$HOME/.config"
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures. At a minimum, we need: 1. The specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem. 2. The behavior you expected. 3. The behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible). Please also ensure that you include the release and flavour of Ubuntu that you are using. Thank you! ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1993212 Title: nautalis cannot find trash at XDG_DATA_HOME="$HOME/.config" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1993212/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1993244] Re: weird default applications behaviour
could you give an example of calendar software which isn't listed by GNOME? The UI should just pick any installed .desktop, how they are installed and in which order shouldn't lead to different results -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1993244 Title: weird default applications behaviour To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1993244/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
