When I boot up and there is a disk failure warning, it bombards me with a new
dialog every 2 seconds. If I'm not fast enough clicking the dialog away, I end
up with dozens if not hundreds of disk failure warning dialogs. This is by far
too much in too short time for users
This is still an issue with certain parts of the UI (sorry for adding here, bug
reporting seems disabled).
The text string for disk failure warning doesn't break lines and forces the
dialog to be (estimated) 1500px wide (on a 1280px screen).

It does, except here it's PTP, not MTP. While I'm at it, MTP also
doesn't work, but these are two different protocols, and probably

This really is a support question, not a bug in seahorse: most likely
the permissions of your ~/.gnupg folder and it's contents are wrong.
This happens when you run software with root privileges that change
stuff in hour /home directory. Use gksudo for those.

This affects me too currently. I've updated my system to 11.04 several
weeks ago. After that I had no problems with Jabber. The problems
started a few days ago.
I've tried empathy (3.2.0.1-0ubuntu1.1) and pidgin (1:2.10.0-0ubuntu2).
Both with the same error.
I've activated the oneiric-proposed
It's explicitly disabled in debian/totem-plugins-extra.install:
debian/tmp/usr/lib/totem/plugins/gromit
#debian/tmp/usr/lib/totem/plugins/coherence_upnp
debian/tmp/usr/lib/totem/plugins/iplayer
Someone did this knowingly.

BTW, it's a regression for me too, as I used that plugin extensively in
totem.

Brasero finishes without error but
In Gnumeric you get a permission denied message including the complete
file name for the file. I don't see how this could be any more verbose
(in a useful way).
Users could choose to use save-as or to change teh permissions of the
file. I don't thin kit is a good idea to presuppose that they will
