I have the same problem now (8.10). Haven't noticed this before, but I
rarely use the Trash in Nautilus.
I have tried to delete /home/myuser/.local/share/Trash and also roots
trash (to make them regenerate to make sure there isn't a permission
problem), but it doesn't help.

accounts (gmail and university) and both are experiencing this issue of
not seeing mail in the inbox.

same thing when I right-click on the SD card. Both say "Open with F-

I'm using gutsy and it doesn't appear fixed to me... Though this might
be a slightly different problem:
Log in as A, just like normal.
Switch user, log in as B
Log out B.
It should then go back to the A login, asking for the password, but
instead the machine locks up hard, with no cursor visible
Same here, removing gtk-qt-engine made it work.

I can confirm the RB looks fuzzy when alt+tabbing in compiz, maybe a SVG
version would be better? Would this stop the problem? I also feel the
shuffle and repeat icons could do with a bit of love.

Removing /usr/share/icons/hicolor/icon-theme.cache does in fact fix
the bug. For performance reasons is there a way to generate a new
cache? Thank you for the help.

errors related to gnome-panel:
