Yes I agree. As I stated on 16th Sept, the key issue has disappeared in
Ubuntu 10.4, as the MP3 player now mounts as a standard USB removable
device. For me that is good enough (though I still desire those meta-
data columns...)

I removed nothing, all I did was click on Update in update-manager.
Yes, it fixes the problem. So we have two bugs: libnss3-0d was
incorrectly removed, and there is a missing dependency.

This still happens for me with the released 8.04 - I need to click the
Set button on every session in order to display the weather in the
taskbar.

I had this problem and I do NOT have auto login enabled, I use a
password just like I always have.
How can this not be considered a bug? Installing routine package
updates on a stable distro should not cause bizarre, inexplicable

If I load up the mail today, it shows the correct event date as Friday,
February 1. It appears the problem is/was with whatever function
interprets the date into Tomorrow etc.

When logging into a site that uses http authentication the dialog for
username/password
no longer displays the name/identifier of the authentication.

Actually, the dialog issue just seems to be the tip of the iceberg. epiphany
seems completely unstable after running the hardy updates.
I've reverted xulrunner.
