As of today's Jaunty updates, I'm getting one additional suspend
cycle, and after coming back from suspend I experienced this behaviour
which I'm assuming is related:
After pressing Fn a second time to wake up, I got the gnome screen
lock dialog. I tried to type into it but I didn't see anything
After I logged out of my gnome session, the keyboard worked ok at the
login screen and in the next session.
I suspended the machine again and I did get the double-resume, but I did
not have trouble with my keyboard on this attempt.

the dim-bright issue seems to be gone in hardy, not sure if it always
works, but it seems that if it does work at all, it works properly.
It is definitely better than it was but not totally fixed.

I'm not sure how to reproduce it so can't specifically test it. But
let's assume it's fixed, and I'll reopen if it crashes again.

What should have happened: a dialog to set the timezone, ntp, and so on.

I have an X61s thinkpad running the current hardy.
I am trying to change the screen brightness, using both the Fn+Home/End
keys, and also the power management control panel. I can see the OSD

I get the same error when right clicking and then choosing Preferences
from the menu.
Apparently this window is reached by running gnome-keyboard-properties
--a11y. So it seems like you either need a shell script under the old
name or to update the applet, etc.

On hardy, I dragged the accessibility applet to the dock. It appears as
a little wheelchair, as expected. Clicking it gives an error message.
It should bring up the keyboard accessibility control panel.

Yes - when I did the first apt-get update, it actually removed
I apt-get installed nautilus manually and got 1:2.21.90-0ubuntu3, which

I'm not sure why I had the other version, it was just what got installed
after upgrading from hardy. I have mirror.internode.on.net in my
sources.list as well as archive.u.c, and it may be there was

I've just upgraded to hardy and rebooted. When I log in to Gnome, a
Nautilus window flashes up and quickly disappears about ten times.
There are no icons on the desktop. When I try to start Nautilus from
the terminal I get:

if that's related. After removing it I still get the same error.
