gnome-panel.desktop and nautilus-classic.desktop, will need to have
Unity added to OnlyShowIn.

have_notify_shell is being called after managers is destroyed.

wordsmyth2, if you want hibernate on lid close, it needs to be set as a

I have made some tweaks to the 90_set_gmenus_xsettings.patch which might
help with this, however I have not been able to reproduce locally so
can't confirm

Can't do anything much without a backtrace.
So please file a new bug using the apport crash popup or find the crash file
under
/var/crash/_usr_bin_gnome-control-center...crash
and then run `ubuntu-bug file`
