1) After last upgrade ( 3 Feb 2010) the gnome-volume-control-applet is

After last upgrade (3 Feb 2010),
after usplash screen (boot time), gdm does not start properly. In particular it
start but to see the screen it is necessary to switch
using CTRL-F7 and I don't understand the sense of this.
