i dont care about 10.10 :-)
i have lucid 10.04 LTS installed, which will last longer than 10.10
/etc/lsb-release:DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION=Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS
I dont know why it seems my distro is 9.10 as i upgraded to lucid
(10.04).
Maybe i should redo the bug report for lucid ?

I did not add other packages sources, but upgraded from xubuntu 9.04 to
9.10 then 10.04. This seem to be one minor glitches in the process

Starting from a shell, i have no error when trying to start empathy without
mail-notification.
The program is started somewhere, but do not open GUI, and nothing is written
in the shell.
Easy to try ;-)

recently, the sound fail, its impossible to play music or watch video
it worked smoothly before.
it affects all applications (firefox, vlc ...) not only rythmbox, so i
guess it s a sound problem in kernel.
