I have a similar bug. The following script is working in firefox but not
in epiphany:

I was using two different programs to fill a pdf form (Adobe Reader 8.0, allows
to save data now, and Cabaret)
Evince shows check-mark in a wrong spot: it shows Yes while it is No.

Totem attempts to play those objects, but some of the sites are unavailable, so
