This seemed to happen worse when I was using Firefox, can't really correlate it with anything. Alt-Tab seems to fix it for me tho. Running up to date 17.04 and I also have this issue. In my user env XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=Unity is already set, but Electron based apps do not show a tray/indicator icon. I have the same issue with dual monitors. I hardly ever see the gnome screensaver unlock dialog when locked as well. I am still not sure if suspend has just gotten much more unreliable on my laptop in 11.10 or if it is an artifact of the missing lid close option/functionality. I did find this script http://fedora.rasmil.dk/blog/?p=208 that adds gsettings for lid close actions. This seems to effect gnome-power-managers actions on lid close, but suspend still seems less reliable than 11.10. I dug into this further since I had another machine upgraded to hardy that did not exhibit this behavior. It seems that the gconf schema was not updated correctly on system that had the issue. /apps/evolution/display/enable_vfolders was set as an integer and not displayed at all in the evolution preference dialogs. Having seen the pref in my working systems and that is should be a boolean, made the change in gconf and the preference showed up as well as the vfolders. Any idea why my schema would be out of sync? I've don't generally do any manual edits to gconf. Wouldn't the fix for this problem, be to expunge your messages? Why do you keep so many delete messages around? Evolution is correct with the way it handles deleted mail(marked as delete not moved to trash). Public bug reported: Right clicking on items that display a context menu and then selecting an option from a submenu don't sense the on_click (don't work). This only happens with the Human theme enabled and works correctly with Glossy or Mist, etc.. themes enabled. To reproduce. using the mouse(you might need to do this more than once to see the bug): 1. Right click on a text file in Nautlus 2. Select the open with submenu 3. Select a text editor. 4. Nothing happens. Expected behavior, text editor should open editing the file. Another way to reproduce: 1. Start Evolution 2. Compose a new mail 3. Mispell a word. 4. Right click on the word, select the English(American) or your languages submenu. 5. Select the correct spelling of the word. 6. The words spelling isn't changed. Expected behavior, the words spelling is changed to the selected text. This bug got me looking into the problem being related to epiphany- extensions. Removing all extensions the problem seems to be fixed.
