Ubuntu 20.04. In fact I first used the script from bernaerts mentioned
above (#4 for instance). Anyway I disabled its startup before these
tests, I mentioned it to clear the ground.

Still present in Ubuntu 9.04 (Evolution 2.26.1-0ubuntu1).
In my case any new appointment I made on Evolution calendar are recorded as
appointment in the same day starting from 12.00 AM and lasting for 24 hours.
Even after editing the event in Google Calendar, Evolution still records it as
a 24
I'm using 8.10 and the problem looks solved to me also.

I couldn't extract file MBTI.zip using file-roller 2.24.1-0ubuntu2, but
I was able to extract it with file-roller 2.25.2-0ubuntu1.
file-roller 2.25.2-0ubuntu1 created the correct directory tree and put
all the files in the right place!

For me it is almost fixed. To make this problem appear again try to
move a message from a VFolder to a Real Folder. You will see the Real
Folder unread counter to be increased, even the message you moved was
marked as read. So I suppose there is some more deep problem in
Evolution with the unread

I can confirm this issue, although I'm not sure that this is bug belongs
to compiz. I suppose that you are using gnome with metacity. And I'm
moving this report to metacity package.
