I am clearing the journal per cron using `journalctl --vacuum-time=1d
--quiet`. Unfortunately the `--quiet` is ignored, and the journalctl
always outputs something like `Vacuuming done…`. This results in cron
sending me an email, and I don’t like that.

I used Gedit to edit a file on a network share. Now when I attempt to
start Gedit while having no access to this network share, Gedit doesn't
render anything in the window. So I see no menu, no toolbar, no tabs,
just the default window background.

In my case the deinstallation of ulatencyd has solved the problem.
I had the problem in the old install, made a clean install and at some
point started seeing the problem again. Somehow I guessed I should try
deinstalling ulatencyd and it helped indeed. Installing it again and

I'm testing Brasero 2.26.1 in Jaunty and there's slight improvement: it
writes CDs at 16x, not 8x. However it's still below wanted 48x.

Due to some issues with authoring video DVD I installed latest Brasero
version: 0.9.1. Since that moment it writes CDs at 8x speed, while
previous version wrote them at 48x. Gnomebaker still writes CDs at 48x,
so it's not a drive or OS fault.

I proposed too few steps to reproduce. :( Actually this bug requires a
bit more.
First, I have sidebar visible fully - with buttons. Second: when viewing
sinlge photo, it shows edit buttons, not metadata or tags.

I do have chance to test. Actully my E2 connects not to /dev/pilot, but
to /dev/ttyUSB1. After I set this device in master settings, almost
everything works fine.
I believe it should better work on default /dev/pilot, because I had to
do quite a lot googling before I found this solution.

I managed to install files by dragging them to applet. It just worked.
However, it's rather difficult to discover this way of installing files.
I think that applet's popup should say not 'Ready to synchronize', but
'Ready to synchronize. Drag files on this icon to install.' This will
easily
same for Tungsten E2

I set up synchronizing of Tungsten E2 with PC. But after it's finished
and progress window on PC disappears, there's a message on Palm:
HotSync operation was interrupted. Some of your data was NOT backed up.

I've changed settings to use libusb, but the problem persists and even
became worse.
pilot-xfer -p usb: -s test
synchronizes folder nicely without any error. But when using gpilotd sync
doesn't finish. Now even dialog stays on the screen last lines saying either:
