since the latest batch of updates i am no longer seeing this bug on my

Viewing gloom in rhythmbox causes either rhythmbox or gstreamer to

Yep thats what I'm getting, atm (see original bug). Everything was
working a couple or more days ago, but some patch brought an end to
that. I'd say you just need to wait until the appropriate patch is
released -- like me.
Its worth the wait though because browsing youtube in totem is a pretty

My apologies, i was being overly specific. As long as you have an NTFS
partition, ubuntu mounts it with fuse by default, so dont worry about
that bit.
If you do have a NTFS partition, try and delete a folder with a file in
it, off of a the mounted ntfs partition/drive.

There is no .crash file in /var/crash.
I notice in the last line of the terminal output its says:

core dumped? Does this mean i can find a 'core' and upload that?

Here are a couple of backtraces. Not sure how meaningful they will be,
i only have nautilus-dbg installed, and in the backtrace there are
missing symbols.
The first backtrace is where gdb launches nautilus, and it pretty much
crashes straight away as far as i can tell.

So the Youtube plugin requires python-gdata and its dependencies.
python-gdata is not in main. Alternative to the suggestions thus far,
would it be possible for Totem to promt a useful error. Such an error
could explain that python-gdata is required and would the user like the
