My apologies, i was being overly specific. As long as you have an NTFS partition, ubuntu mounts it with fuse by default, so dont worry about that bit. If you do have a NTFS partition, try and delete a folder with a file in it, off of a the mounted ntfs partition/drive. -- cannot delete files
