Okay, now I'm less sure that this is my fault. No, it seems inconsistent. When I first started awn after restarting my system I saw the compiz decorations around the popup menu on it, and then when I started Chromium and popped up the window they were gone. Later I tried that again and they were still there. Right now I just popped up the menu and the decorations are not there. Oh weird.. I just checked again. I have 5 gnome-terminals open, and I have 2 Chromium windows open. I tried out some of Cody's scenarios on my installation and I was unable to reproduce the intermittent window decorations. For me the window decorations are consistently displayed. To add some additional detail, I see the window decorations on the weather, calendar, cpu, and volume popups.
