[Bug 1193522] Re: nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in gtk_action_get_name()

2013-12-14 Thread zzecool
The problem exist even with even with nautilus-dropbox 1.4.0-3
Nautilus still crashing randomly even if you don't try to access a
dropbox folder , making the desktop and desktop icons inaccessible..

In other words right now Dropbox and Ubuntu 13.10 cant live together ..

[Bug 1193522] Re: nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in gtk_action_get_name()

2013-08-23 Thread Minoru Yanagisawa
I removed 'dropbox_1.6.0_amd64.deb' and reinstall from source file
'nautilus-dropbox-1.4.0.tar.bz2' downloaded from Dropbox site. Then I can have
accessed files in Dropbox folder without any crash.
Somehow I can see Dropbox icon on main Ubuntu bar upper-right side, different
from Stoimenov's case.

I'm using Ubuntu Saucy Salamander (development branch), 3.11.0-3 x86_64
kernel and GNOME nautilus 3.8.2.

[Bug 1193522] Re: nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in gtk_action_get_name()

2013-08-13 Thread Ivaylo Stoimenov
I can confirm the bug in Ubuntu 13.10 daily (with 3.11.0.1 kernel). It
seems that the bug disappears if you install nautilus-dropbox 1.4.0-3
instead of 1.6.0, so it is specific for the later version of Dropbox. I
can access and edit my Dropbox folder, but the Dropbox icon is missing
from the main Ubuntu bar on the right-top corner.

[Bug 1193522] Re: nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in gtk_action_get_name()

2013-08-02 Thread Stephen Cradock
May one ask when this will be done, and by whom? Has this been brought
to the attention of the dropbox developers? Or does the user have to do
this him/herself?

Meanwhile, if it helps anyone sort this out, here is the output in the
terminal after starting nautilus and then trying to open the dropbox
folder:

(nautilus:16785): Gtk-WARNING **: Refusing to add non-unique action
'NautilusDropbox::browse' to action group 'DirExtensionsMenuGroup'
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
