[Bug 1778983] Re: Resume from suspend on Wayland breaks window positioning
Thank you for the positive comments! I do not have the knowledge or time to fix the problem. Writing a Gnome extension was new to me as well, but not difficult. After seeing zero evidence of progress on the bug over many years, I had given up hope that it would get fixed. I hope that the existence of the Gnome extension does not delay a real fix. I suspect that it won't because I'm guessing the eventual fix will be the side-effect of some other change. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to mutter in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1778983 Title: Resume from suspend on Wayland breaks window positioning To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mutter/+bug/1778983/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '31'. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above.
