It's an error to [try to] rename standard folders because there may exist references to their files. That is why xdg-user-dirs does not rename nonempty folders. But this is indeed inconvenient and there is a solution that is not. Hi. Do the names of your system folders appear in Czech or in English on your desktop (menu Places ...)?
