The issue keeps on popping up. I need to restart my computer every few days because one of my family members cannot log on to the computer any more. I uploaded gdm logs of last 24 hours. I hope someone can see something here. note I see some errors in there: no idea if there is any relation to

I used to have this issue, but I believe it was fixed in lucid-updates. Sorry, I don't recall the exact bug. The problem, as I recall, was that the fade-out from a logout set the screen gamma to zero, and this was not restored. Do you still have this problem with a fully-updated lucid? -- No

hello, sounds like my experience. recently upgraded my system to Lucid Lynx LTS (re-formatted the drive) from 7.10. we run several user accounts for the family. somebody stays logged in, and Switch User gets another login without disturbing the first. When ANY user logs off, no logon screen is
