Scratch that, burnt another DVD, CPU usage was high again. Burnt another DVD a day or two ago, CPU usage was normal (10%). OK. .xsession-errors attached; it's rather long but there are some brasero bits in the middle. is the process hanged or nautilus is just using that amount of cpu but working normally? could you attach your ~/.xsession-errors file to the report?
