K. The time I reported this, they didn't, as far as I remember, which I feel is correct as the seek bar in the window and the one in these separate controls display different duration. Today, two different things happened: 1 They do work with the video getting re-sized but without any borders or controls attached around it with only these controls remaining from the full screen and the seek bar displaying the correct duration. 2 The video re-sized with no controls at all. (Attached) It does not happen every time. It's kinda tricky. I don't know how it happened the first time, but now, I go full screen, Alt+Tab to Chrome (v 18.0.1025.168), and drag the title bar down... It surely has something to do with Chrome. When I run VLC in full screen and Alt+Tab to a sized window of Chrome and choose maximize it does happen but in kinda background and VLC (still full screen) becomes the active window again...
