Confirmed -- this was a problem in Ubuntu 7.10 and still is a problem in 8.04. When Flurry hangs, the machine becomes unusable. If you then ssh into the machine you will find TWO flurry processes spinning at 100% CPU. Killing them both makes the machine usable again (able to unlock the screen).

Almost there. I think the colour of the overlays needs to be significantly different to that of the grey background or else it's visually confusing. Perhaps black, like it is at present in Gnome 3. Also optionally, the overlay(s) should have arrows, or something, to indicate they are drag-able.

I did mean CCSM at the time, but I think that comment in the code is wrong now. I'm pretty sure I can make the Unity code clever enough to just always do the right thing -- If a primary monitor has been defined then use that, else use the left-most monitor as the current Unity 4.x code does.
