Hi,
My father has also this bug since he upgraded from 7.10 to 8.04. He must login

Process :
0. GDM asks login and password

4. GDM ask again the login and password

My father finally gave me the log files. He created a new user called

FYI, the sentence Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type means

pata_via driver. My recorder can work in UDMA/66 mode and pata_via
driver sets this mode for it. But my dvdrecorder is connected to
mainbord by old 40 pin
Problem still exists. I use kernel 2.6.24-16.30-generic.
