I've run a recursive grep for png document in /usr, /opt, /home, /etc, /root
and /lib but /lib/modules and /lib/udev (it hangs on both directories)
I don't think other directories could contain usefull information.
It returns nothing usefull except for /home :

This only happens when watching movies. When I start totem everything is

With my intel card totem (with gstreamer) takes all the memory of the system if
i play a music file (mp3, ogg etc.).
In a second the system become too slow to respond and the only solution is
reboot. The only way to stop this is to kill totem
I think I've found something more. The problem appears to be caused by
totem visual effects, enabled by default when you play music. Disabling
them from totem preferences makes the music playable again.

This is not correct. Upstream reports that this bug is fixed only for
images, because Nautilus has an internal fast-path for images. This
Ubuntu report, instead, is about thumbnails (as generated by
thumbnailers). For thumbnails, the bug is not fixed.

I got this error while moving my pictures to a brand new installation of
Precise (Shotwell 0.11.93-0ubuntu2).
I just copied my whole library (11940 pictures/movies, 34,6 GB total) in the
Images directory and started Shotwell.
I said to import the Images directory and I got a similar report from

On System Settings Appearance Look , the theme is not selected (view
screenshot attached).
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.04
This theme is that default.
I have not performed any customization.
